It was built by the architect Joaquín Rieta Sister, known as the “architect of the cinemas” as he built most of the cinemas in the city of Valencia. Work began in 1925 and was completed in 1927. The building is classicist in style and is one of the most beautiful in the Valencian Community. It has two floors and a tower with a pyramidal tile roof topped with pinnacles at the apexes. In 2009 it was inaugurated after a major refurbishment, providing it with the most modern and sustainable facilities, preserving the façade and the original architectural element.
