Let’s go for a walk in Las Rodanas!

This walking route is tailor-made for lovers of the Mediterranean forest as, unfortunately, it is one of the last routes with this kind of flora near Valencia. This natural area extends over 590 hectares of pines, oranges, mandarins and other plants characteristic of this area. The proximity to Valencia makes the paths of Les Rodanes (PR-CV 175) a good alternative to escape from the monotony of work or simply an easy excuse to step on the mountain.

These marvelous paths are a good way to plan a family excursion as they have a simple and safe route to walk even with the little ones, but always with an eye on them to avoid scares.

The forest mass of Les Rodanes stands out for its rich flora, fauna and it’s war heritage since in this natural space we will be able to discover small cavities that are complemented by a network of trenches carved into the rock during the Second Spanish Republic that the terrain hides from the visitor’s eyes.

This route can also be done when the sun sets if we are equipped with a good front or a flashlight. When night falls you will be surprised by the brightness of the visible constellations with great ease.
