Castle of Ribarroja del Turia

The Castle is the oldest, most important and emblematic building in Riba-Roja from the point of view of its origin and historical evolution. It has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, registered in the General Register of Spanish Historical Heritage with the Monument Category. The Castle is a large volume construction, formed by the successive juxtaposition of different bodies built from different periods (from the 11th to the 19th century) and which have undergone very important processes of transformation and substitution, which confers a great diversity and complexity to the building.
