Kayaking down the River Túria is a water route suitable for all types of public, including children under 6 years of age and older.
Before starting this water adventure we will learn how to handle the paddle and how to maneuver safely with the help of experienced instructors.
The course of the River Túria runs 280km from its source in the Sierra de Albarracín (Teruel) to its mouth in the city of Valencia. In its first stretch, this river is known as Guadalaviar (called in the tenth century as wadi al-abyad which means “white river”).
During the kayak descent, we will walk along the riverbed and discover the lush flora that surrounds it. If we are lucky and the group is quiet we will be able to see migratory birds and other animals from the area.
