Kayaking down the River Túria is a water route suitable for all types of public, including children under 6 years of age and older.
Before starting this water adventure we will learn how to handle the paddle and how to maneuver safely with the help of experienced instructors.
The course of the River Túria runs 280km from its source in the Sierra de Albarracín (Teruel) to its mouth in the city of Valencia. In its first stretch, this river is known as Guadalaviar (called in the tenth century as wadi al-abyad which means “white river”).
During the kayak descent, we will walk along the riverbed and discover the lush flora that surrounds it. If we are lucky and the group is quiet we will be able to see migratory birds and other animals from the area.

Old booties or slippers with laces for wetting. No slippers

¿Cómo puedo llegar a la localización del descenso en kayak?
Riba-Roja de Túria cuenta con una línea a de Metro Valencia (línea 9) que la conecta con la ciudad desde diferentes paradas (Colón, Xátiva, Ángel Gimerá, Avenida del Cid, Manises, etc.)
¿Los niños pueden hacer esta actividad?
Sí, los menores de 6 a 11 años pueden realizar el descenso siempre que les acompañe un adulto (padre, madre o tutor). Además lo menores de 11 años disfrutan de un precio especial.
¿Qué temporada del año es la ideal para realizar esta actividad?
De marzo a octubre, dependiendo del cauce del río según la temporada del año.
¿Qué incluye la actividad?
Incluye el equipo de seguridad (chaleco y casco), el monitor certificado en piragüismo, el kayak y la pala, una pequeña clase teorico-práctica, un álbum fotográfico de la experiencia y los seguros de Responsabilidad Civil y Acccidentes.
¿Se puede hacer con animales?
Sí, siempre que te responsabilices de la seguridad de tu mascota y otros participantes.
¿Qué pasa si la actividad se cancela a última hora?
Si la empresa cancela el descenso por motivos meteorológicos, todos los participantes disponéis de seis meses para reservar una nueva fecha de realización. Si estás de paso también puedes solicitar la devolución de la reserva realizada.
¿La actividad incluye neoprenos?
Si el agua está fría y los monitores consideran oportuno equiparos con neoprenos así lo haremos.
