Inaugurated in 1797, it is neoclassical in style. The churches unique feature is that the construction of its two towers there is more than a century of difference. In 1832 the image of the Holy Christ of the Afflicted was transferred to this temple. In 1936 it was desecrated, its images and furniture being burned and its altars destroyed, later becoming a warehouse. In 1999 the City Council of Riba-Roja signed an agreement with the Polytechnic University of Valencia, thanks to which more than 40 students from the Faculty of Fine Arts restored the paintings and frescoes of the church. Recently, four images of apostles sculpted in marble resin by the artist Enrique San Isidro have been incorporated into the church.
