With an ideal environment for children, Maldonado Park has a children’s playground set of Peter Pan and Neverland, which simulates a paradisiacal island where there is no lack of jungle and a pirate ship, it also has a picnic area with fountains, benches, litter bins and adapted public toilets, with a space for breastfeeding and changing. The Department of Culture schedules every year the Summer Cinema, during the months of July and August, as well as theatrical performances. In addition, within the Maldonado Park is the Vaporista Railway Center, a place where both the youngest and the oldest can climb up to scale trains and enjoy an authentic railway atmosphere.
