Les Rodanes War Route

Discover with us the network of trenches belonging to the Spanish Civil War known as “La inmediata“. This line of military constructions that goes from Puig to Riba-Roja fulfilled a defensive objective. The visit begins at the air-raid shelter of the Cervantes School. In a second part of the route, we travel by vehicle to the Vilamaxant Interpretation Centre to see bunkers, machine gun nests, and trenches excavated by the Republican side. The tour ends with a panoramic view of the Porxinos Valley and the Camp del Turia.
