Route by the River Túria

The Parc del Túria covers 46.9 square kilometers and covers the municipalities of L’Horta, El Camp de Túria, and Los Serranos. Along the route, you will walk along several suitable paths to discover a typical Mediterranean forest that is currently at risk of disappearing.

Along the cycle path through the Parc Natural del Túria, you will see forests of Aleppo pines, Mediterranean scrub and vegetable gardens. If you like citrus fruits, take the opportunity to taste oranges and mandarins of different varieties as each field is grown according to the uses and customs of the farmer who works it. Another little treasure that makes this land rich in biodiversity, colors, and flavors.

The route begins in Riba-Roja del Túria, a small municipality that has lived facing the River Turia since time immemorial. The path that we will use runs along the riverbed of the River Túria and, later on, we will take another path towards the natural setting of Las Rodanas. At this point, the guide takes the opportunity to make a technical stop so that visitors can have lunch while enjoying the beautiful landscape. Once our stomachs are full, we will continue to the town of Vilamarxant, which belongs to Camp de Túria, and then we will return along the riverbed to Riba-Roja de Túria.
